
PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – During the week of April 12 – April 18, deputies of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to 1,411 calls for service throughout the community.
Damaged Property: 2021-18889
On April 12, 2021, Deputy Burgraff responded to the area of Catalina Drive and Beach Drive in Lusby, MD for the report of damaged property. The complainant advised a Takeuchi TB180 excavator had its left window completely shattered, a Komatsu WA270 loader’s front window was cracked, a fire extinguisher had been discharged inside the cab of the loader and a section of fence had been knocked over. The estimated value of damaged property is $1500.00.
Damaged Property: 2021-18930
On April 12, 2021, Deputy Lewis responded to the 200 block of Fairground Road in Prince Frederick, MD for the report of damaged property. The complainant advised unknown suspects damaged her frog garden decorations. The value of damaged property is $15.00.
Damaged Property: 2021-20168
On April 18, 2021, Deputy Lewis responded to the 300 block of English Oak Lane in Prince Frederick, MD for the report of arson. The complainant advised unknown suspects set fire to the community playground. Several pieces of equipment were discovered to have been partially burned. The value of damaged property is unknown at this time.
Damaged Property: 2021-20191
On April 18, 2021, Deputy Fox responded to the 4000 block of 15th Street in Chesapeake Beach, MD, for the report of damaged property. The complainant advised sometime between April 16 and April 18, her flower pot and a ceramic yard bird had been cracked and a metal welcome sign was broken. The value of damaged property is $50.
Arrests:

Robert Merton Pitcher III, 26
On April 14, 2021, Cpl. Denton conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot of the McDonald’s located at 515 Solomons Island Road in Prince Frederick, MD. While making contact with the passenger of the vehicle, Robert Merton Pitcher III, 26 of Prince Frederick, MD, Cpl. Denton noticed a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed a syringe located in the trunk. A search of Pitcher’s person revealed a Heroin capsule and two rolled $20 bills covered with a white powdery substance, which he stated was Heroin. Pitcher was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center (CCDC). A secondary search was conducted once he arrived at the CCDC and revealed 26 additional Heroin capsules. Pitcher was charged with CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana and CDS: Possession of Paraphernalia.

Morgan Allen Presgraves, 25
On Sunday, April 18, 2021, Deputy Savick conducted a traffic stop in the area of Southern MD Blvd. and Ferry Landing Road in Dunkirk, MD. While making contact with the driver, Morgan Allen Presgraves, 25 of Millersville, MD, Narcan was observed to be in plain view. A K-9 search of the vehicle was conducted and revealed two white capsules with Heroin inside. Morgan was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with CDS: Possession- Not Marijuana.

Ana Lizette Nunez, 36
On April 13, 2021, Deputy Shoemaker responded to a residence in the 600 block of Clubhouse Drive in Lusby, MD for the report of a burglary. The complainant advised an unknown female suspect made entry to the residence. The homeowner confronted the unknown female later identified as Ana Lizette Nunez, 36 of Silver Spring, MD and repeatedly asked her to leave. Nunez was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center and charged with 4th Degree Burglary and Trespassing.

Edgar Alberto Guerra, 24
On April 16, 2021, Deputy Durnbaugh conducted a traffic stop in the area of Southern Maryland Boulevard and W. Mt. Harmony Road in Dunkirk, MD. Upon making contact with the driver, Edgar Alberto Guerra, 24 of Lancaster, PA, a strong odor of marijuana was emitting from the vehicle. The driver advised he did not have a valid driver’s license and had marijuana in the vehicle. A search was conducted and revealed a large amount of marijuana, a large sum of edibles containing THC, $518 in cash and multiple digital scales. Guerra was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with CDS Possession with Intent to Distribute and CDS: Possession Marijuana 10 GM+.
