Prince Frederick, MD โ€“ Calvert Hospice announces Gone But Never Forgotten, a FREE seminar that tackles the stigma of overdose loss. The seminar will be held on September 27 from 6 โ€“ 8 pm at โ€œThe Space,โ€ 96 Central Square Drive, Prince Frederick. Topics will include differences while grieving, how to heal after your loss, forgiving yourself and your loved one, complicated grief, and the evening will have a Q & A session with Calvert Hospice bereavement staff. Space is limited, so please register early. This seminar will be followed by an eight week group that will build on the concepts introduced in the seminar. The group will meet on Tuesdays starting October 17 from 3:00 โ€“ 4:30 pm at โ€œThe Space,โ€ 96 Central Square Drive, Prince Frederick (behind Outback Steakhouse). The program will help participants: work through the pain of losing a loved one to addiction, learn to find hope and healing after loss, gain support from others who have similar experiences, and identify healthy ways to grieve.

There is no cost for this 8-week group, but participants are asked to pre-register. Space is limited, so please register early.
