Calvert Hospice to host workshop on grief and loss

Calvert Hospice will offer a 5-week course on grief and loss utilizing a discussion guide by renowned grief counselor and educator, Alan Wolfelt, PhD. The course is FREE for Calvert Hospice families and we encourage others to make a $25 donation. All participants will have the option to purchase a copy of the book at the end of the course. The course involves weekly educational sessions, individualized learning exercises between meetings and opportunities to share experiences in a respectful, confidential and affirming environment. Pre-registration Required by April 10.

The group will be held Mondays beginning April 14 and will run through May 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Burnett Calvert Hospice House located at 4550 Sixes Road in Prince Frederick.  This workshop is designed for adults who have experienced the death of another adult through illness the last two years. Exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis.
