RIDGE, Md. — We are receiving reports of a capsized boat in the Patuxent River that has first responders searching the area.
At approximately 7:17 p.m. on May 15, the coast guard received a phone call regarding a capsized boat with a surrounding field of debris in the water.
Fire Department rescue boats have been dispatched to the scene to search for potential passengers, as well as a helicopter from the Maryland State Police Aviation.
The call was placed from Calvert County and is being handled by their departments.
