Carload of Thugs Steal Cell Phone From Boy

At 9:30 p.m. April 8, a 14-year-old Waldorf boy was walking in the 900 block of Sloan Avenue in Waldorf and was talking on his cell phone.

An older-model burgundy sedan passed him and the turned around and stopped next to him. The driver brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s cell phone.The rear passenger also brandished a handgun.

The front passenger exited the car and told the victim to drop the phone. The victim complied. The passenger retrieved the cell phone and returned the car, and the suspects fled toward Barksdale Avenue.

The victim walked home, told his parents and called 911. Officers searched the area but did not locate the suspects.
