The Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack has reported several incidents of cars being stolen and vandalized in St. Mary’s County.
On Monday, May 14 at 8:11 am, Trooper Pilkerton responded to a reported malicious destruction of property to motor vehicles on Ellen Bee Court in Lexington Park. Contact was made with the victim, who advised that someone broke out the driver’s side window on his Toyota Camry and the passenger side window on his Honda Civic. No further information is available and the investigation continues.
On Monday, May 14 at 3:45 pm, Trooper Adams responded to the MSP Barrack in Leonardtown for a reported malicious destruction of property to a motor vehicle. Contact was made with the victim, who lives on Iverson Drive in Great Mills. He advised that someone keyed his white Ford Cobra. A neighborhood check was conducted and no further information is available at this time.
On Tuesday, May 15 at 8:31 am, Trooper Stockton responded to a reported theft of motor vehicle call in the 25000 block of Point Lookout Road in Leonardtown. Contact was made with the victim, who advised someone took his 1993 maroon Honda Civic. The vehicle is used for racing and did not display any license plates. Investigation continues.
On Tuesday, May 15 at 9:02 am, Trooper Moore responded to Lawrence Avenue in Leonardtown for a reported theft from motor vehicle. Contact was made with the complainant who advised that someone stole a Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo from her green Honda Accord. No further information is available and the investigation continues.
