WALDORF, Md. – On Wednesday, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office held their Annual Memorial Wall Commemoration Ceremony. The 33 retirees whose names were added to the wall were honored, and we remembered our 7 officers who were killed or died in the line of duty. The family of Sgt. Joseph Stine, Jr. #62, who died in the line of duty 31 years ago on Wednesday, laid the wreath along with Sheriff Berry and the Honor Guard. Chaplain Aaron Jones delivered the invocation, and Chaplain Steve Davis delivered the benediction.
