The Charles County Commissioners invite state agencies, local businesses, nonprofit organizations, and service groups with a desire to help the community to attend the Charles County Vision 2020 Pilot Program event onย Thursday, June 27 from 1 – 3 p.m.ย at the Greater Waldorf Jaycees Community Center, located at 3090 Crain Highway in Waldorf.ย This event is an opportunity to learn how you can get involved with the Vision 2020 Pilot Program, an initiative aimed at helping individuals and families move out of poverty and into long-term, healthy, and sustainable living conditions.

“The Commissioners have laid the foundation, committed the funds, and selected our first group of recipients.ย Now all we need is you.ย Please join us as we strategize to coordinate our resources,” said Commissioner Debra M. Davis, Esq. (District 2).

Join us at the partnership event onย June 27ย for an overview of the Charles County Vision 2020 Pilot Program and how meaningful partnerships can create positive change. ย Recipients of fiscal 2014 grants awarded by the County Commissioners will be recognized.
