Who’s the fairest of them all?
La Plata, MD – The September blue sky welcomed Kids Day at the Charles County Fair’s 94th Annual celebration. From cotton candy, popcorn and peanuts to amusement park rides, pony rides and demonstration shows, there was something for everyone.
The smiles and laughter were plenty as both young and old enjoyed a day of fair fun. Charles County’s finest sheriff’s officers were on site securing the grounds and mingling with fair patrons. There were vendors, crafters, a petting zoo that included a camel, a large turtle and rabbits that were sure hits.
The crowning of Ms. Charles County Fair and her court were on hand to present winning ribbons to the winners in the livestock show.
