Shortly after 4 p.m. Tuesday, emergency personnel, and and volunteer fire and ambulance teams responded to Gate 1 of the Patuxent Naval Air Station in Lexington Park for a reported crash involving a school bus.

 

Twenty five students, reportedly from Greenview Knolls Elementary School in Great Mills, were aboard at the time of the accident.

School officials were called to the scene, and no injuries were reported.
