At 9:41AM a call went out with a report of a chimney fire on Woodridge Drive in Helen. The caller stated that she could see fire coming from the fireplace. Firefighters found smoked backed up in the chimney. Ambers were coming from the chimney upon arrival. Light flames were quickly extinguished. No injuries were reported. No word yet on the amount of property damage.
