St. Maryโs County
The following is an update to county government operations for Friday, February 20:
๏ All St. Mary’s County Public Schools, including full day Head Start, will operate on a two hour delay. A.M. Pre-Kindergarten and A.M. Head Start students will not have school. However, classes will be held for P.M. Pre-Kindergarten and P.M. Head Start students. Code 5 is in effect for employees.
๏ Non-Public School Transportation will operate on a two hour delay.
๏ All Before Care programs operating in the Public Schools and Hollywood Recreation Center will operate on a two hour delay.
Citizens should continue to exercise caution while on the roadways as slick spots continue to arise.
Calvert County
Calvert County Public Schools Opening 2 Hours Late
โข School opening will be delayed 2 hours due to inclement weather. No AM Pre-Kindergarten.
โข The workday for 10 and 11-month employees will begin 30 minutes before the scheduled student starting time.
โข 12-month employees, including emergency personnel, report on time.
โข No Food Service Workers are to report prior to 8:00 a.m.
Charles County
Due to inclement weather conditions, all Charles County public schools will open two-hours late on Friday, Feb. 20, 2015. There is a code two, which is a two-hour delay, for staff who follow the code system.
