All campuses are opening at 10 am on Feb 10 due to weather conditions.

St. Mary’s County

Due to concerns about the winter weather all three Aging and Human Services’ Senior Activity Centers (Garvey, Loffler and Northern) will open at 10 a.m. this morning.

The delayed opening will not affect the meals program as meals will be served as usual at the centers and there will be home delivered meals.

Additionally, the Love Day program, scheduled to be held at the Loffler Senior Activity Center, has been canceled.

St. Mary’s County Recreation and Parks’ Before and After Care Programs, operating in the public schools, will operate on a 2 hour delay.

Schools

Schools Two Hour Delay: All St. Mary’s County Public Schools, including FULL day Head Start, will have a delayed opening of two hours for Tuesday, February 10, 2015. A.M. Pre-Kindergarten and A.M. Head Start students will not have school. However, there will be classes for P.M. Pre-Kindergarten and P.M. Head Start students.

Employee Code 1: St. Mary’s County Public Schools will have a delayed opening of two hours for Tuesday, February 10, 2015. Ten and eleven-month employees report to work two hours late. Twelve-month employees report to work up to two hours late but no later than 9:20 a.m. Food service workers are to report to work no later than 9:00 a.m. All employees normally beginning their day after 9:20 a.m. are to report to work on time.

Charles County

Due to weather conditions, all Charles County public schools will open two-hours late on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015. The morning prekindergarten program is canceled.

Calvert County

Calvert County Public Schools Opening 2 Hours Late (Code 1 for 12-Month Employees)
School opening will be delayed 2 hours due to inclement weather. No AM Pre-Kindergarten.
The workday for 10 and 11-month employees will begin 30 minutes before the scheduled student starting time.
12-month personnel report up to 1 hour late (Code 1).
All emergency personnel report on time.
No Food Service Workers, including Food Services Drivers, are to report prior to 8:00 a.m.
