LEONARDTOWN, Md. – The Commissioners of St. Mary’s County unanimously approved the St. Mary’s County Board of Education FY2021 budget appropriation for $109,542,921, of recurring funding and the Capital Improvement Budget including $18,115,327, of which $12,734,346 is county funding during the joint Commissioners of St. Mary’s County and Board of Education Meeting Tuesday, June 16, 2020.

Also, during the joint meeting, the Commissioners approved $400,000 to purchase student laptops enabling more students to have the equipment needed to participate in distance learning opportunities during the COVID19 pandemic.
