Commissioners proclaim Women’s History Month

La Plata, MD – On Tuesday, March 22, the Charles County Board of Commissioners proclaimed March 2016 as Women’s History Month. Women continue to play critical roles to advance our nation economically, culturally, and socially. The Commissioners recognized the Charles County Commission for Women for supporting and publicizing legislation affecting women and families in our community, as well as advocating on behalf of these individuals.
