FORT MEADE, Md. – A construction worker was killed today when he was struck by a dump truck.
Fort Meade emergency services personnel responded to the safety-related incident. The name of the deceased will be held pending next of kin notification.
The Fort Meade directorate of emergency services will be involved in an investigation into the incident along with other investigative agencies.
“The Fort Meade community’s thoughts and prayers are with those affected by this loss of life, and we send our heartfelt condolences,” offered Col. Tom S. Rickard, Fort Meade Garrison Commander.
