At 12:32 a.m. Nov. 19, TFC M. Cox observed a disabled vehicle on Rt. 228 at Sun Valley Drive.
The driver, Aaron Bernard Payton, 36, of Clinton, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
A search incident to arrest revealed suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was subsequently charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Payton was incarcerated in the Charles County Detention Center pending a bond review.
