On March 26 at 1:20 p.m. a caller advised the Calvert Control Center that they were observing three males exit a truck parked at a home in the 12000 block of Dusty Hoof Road in Lusby and go around to the rear of the house.
Dep. A. Holt responded to the home and observed a male, later identified as Maurell Anthony Cook, II, 25, of St. Leonard, standing next to the truck. Cook advised there were two other males with him.
Holt observed the crawl space door open and as he entered, he saw two males, later identified as Robert Samuel Gordon, 26, and Michael Vincent Gallo, 25, both of Lusby, cutting copper pipe.
All three suspects were taken into custody and charged with first degree burglary, third degree burglary and fourth degree burglary. Cook was also charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of Alprazolam.
The three men are also suspects in another burglary reported at a home in the 700 block of Bald Eagle Lane in Lusby during the same timeframe. Nothing was taken from that house.
