Deputyย Todd Smith of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of southbound Route 4 at Robshire Manor Road in Huntingtown on May 26 at 1:56 a.m.

Four juveniles occupied the vehicle.ย Smith, assisted byย Deputy April Litteral, detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the driver, a 17-year-old male from Prince Frederick.ย  He was charged on a youth report with possession of marijuana, driving under the influence of alcohol and numerous traffic violations and released to the custody of a parent.

Another 17-year-old male of Lusby was charged on a youth report with possession of marijuana and released to the custody of a parent.

A 17-year-old female of Shady Side was charged on a youth report with possession of marijuana and released to a parent.

The fourth juvenile, a 17-year-old female of Churchton, was charged on a youth report with possession of marijuana, false statement and possession of fake identification and released to a parent.
