At 8:10 p.m. Nov. 3, TFC. Linger was patrolling in Mechanicsville when he observed a Buick passenger vehicle and a routine traffic stop was initiated.
Upon making contact with the driver, Clinton Antonis Robinson, Jr., 20, of Mechanicsville, TFC Linger detected an odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle.
A bag of marijuana was found in Robinsonโs right front pants pocketand he was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Maryโs County Detention Center where he was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of CDS paraphernalia and held pending bond review.
At 12:20 a.m. Nov. 12, TFC Nims conducted a routine vehicle stop on Rt. 5 at the Farmers Market in Mechanicsville.
Upon contact with the driver, Michael Treman Stewart, 21, of Charlotte Hall, an odor of burnt marijuana was detected.
A smoking device, containing burnt marijuana, was located in the vehicleโs trunk. Stewart was issued a criminal citation for possession of CDS paraphernalia and several traffic citations.ย He was released from the scene.
At 10:15 p.m. Nov. 11, Trooper Towers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on H. G. Trueman Road in Lusby.
A computer check revealed that the tags displayed on the vehicle were expired; and the operator, Sommer Lee West, 21, of Lusby, was driving on a suspended license.
Incident to arrest, two CDS smoking devices containing suspected marijuana were located in Ms. Westโs possession.
She was then charged with possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia. After processing, she was transported to the CCDC to await a commissionerโs hearing.
At 1:55 a.m. Nov. 12, Trooper Laziuck stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation on Rousby Hall Road in Lusby.
Upon contact with the occupants of the vehicle, the odor of suspected marijuana was detected by TFC Keen.
The operator, Wesley Brandon Grider, 21, of Lexington Park, was then found to have a baggie of suspected marijuana on his person. He was placed under arrest for possession of marijuana.
A passenger in the vehicle, Michael Brandon Cervenak, 20, of Lexington Park, was โfound to be wanted by the St. Maryโs Sheriffโs Office. He was taken into custody by TFC Lass and relayed to St. Maryโs County.
Grider was processed and transported to the CCDC to await a commissionerโs hearing.
