Linda (Verdin) Burke (46), a hometown Calvert County girl, passed away after a car accident May 13th on Broomes Island Road. Her two younger children were in the car and were flown out by helicopter. They are both recovering from their injuries. This tournament is to raise funds for her beloved children: Rachel (17), Ryan (15), Riley (11) and Rowan (8).
Bucket Sportsbar has graciously agreed to host this event, which will take place Saturday June 27, registration opens at 12:30 pm, the cost is $20 per team. There will be a DJ, Door prizes, a 50/50 raffle and a live auction including a beautiful 16×20 framed sunset photograph taken by Linda. Special thanks to everyone who donated, time, talents and donations to make this event happen.
