On November 14, at 4:10 p.m., TFC E. J. Page responded to the McKay’s Food on Signature Lane in Lexington Park for a reported theft.
Upon arrival, contact was made with a female complainant, 53, of Lexington Park who advised a female patron in the store was found to be in possession of stolen merchandise from the establishment. TFC Page made contact with the female, Tina Louise Babcock, 27, of Callaway and a male subject identified as Bryant Mitchell Richardson, 21, of Callaway.
Both subjects were arrested for Theft Under $100.00. A Search incident to arrest also revealed that Mr. Richardson was in possession of Oxycodone pills. Ms. Babcock and Mr. Richardson were transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged according. Both subjects will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
