On Jan. 29, at 10:45 p.m., St. Mary’s County deputies responded to a residence on Sara Court in Great Mills.
Investigation revealed the victim and Bobby Lee Arthur, 29, were involved in a domestic dispute. The dispute became physical when Arthur struck the woman in the mouth with a closed fist. The woman also sustained a laceration to her left hand during the assault.
Bobby Lee Arthur was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.
