Lusby, MD— Motorists should be prepared for possible brief traffic delays on Cove Point Road in Lusby Friday night, early Monday morning and late Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights.
· Friday, Dec. 16: Wide load transports are scheduled between 11 p.m. Friday and 3 a.m. Saturday.
· Early Monday morning, Dec. 19: Wide load transports are scheduled for early Monday morning Dec. 19, between 12:01 a.m. and 3 a.m.
· Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights, Dec. 19-22 – Wide load transports are scheduled each night between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m. the next morning.
Maryland State Police will control traffic while escorting the wide load transports of material from Maryland Route 2/4 to the Dominion Cove Point LNG terminal.
The State Highway Administration has issued permits for the transports.
