UPDATE – At 8:12 p.m., St. Mary’s County authorities reported Flat Iron Road was reopened.

Lexington Park, MD – At 4:30 p.m. the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office posed a traffic advisory. A motor vehicle collision has occurred on Flat Iron Road in the area of Ryan Way. Temporary road closure and motorists should expect delays and use caution.
