UPDATE
Three Notch Road and Hermanville Road was reported reopened at 8:04 a.m.
LEXINGTON PARK, Md. – On Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 7:19 a.m., crews responded to Three Notch Road and Hermanville Road for the report of a serious crash.
According to reports, crews arrived on scene to find a two-vehicle crash that ended with one vehicle in the road way, one vehicle into a pole, and one person trapped.
The motorist was freed by emergency responders on scene and two people were prepared for medical transport.
A helicopter was initially requested to take at least one of the motorists to a trauma center but was cancelled due to unsafe flying conditions. That person was ultimately taken to the trauma center by ground.
Three Notch Road in the area of Hermanville Road is closed. Expect delays.
