White Plains, MD – A spokesman at the Maryland State Police Barracks in La Plata reported Thursday, Nov. 17 that one injured motorist was flown from the scene of an early-afternoon, multi-vehicle crash on Crain Highway. The Nov. 16 crash prompted a lengthy closing of a portion of the road and the re-routing of traffic. The injured motorist sustained nonlife-threatening injuries.
White Plains, MD – At 5:48 p.m. Crain Highway southbound between Billingsley Road and Demarr Road has been reopened. The crash remains under investigation by the Maryland State Police and no further information has been released at this time.
White Plains, MD – At 2:30 p.m. authorities in Charles County reported a multi-vehicle crash on Crain Highway at Demarr Road. Police are at the scene reporting a head-on collision. Southbound traffic on Crain Highway is being blocked and detoured onto Billingsley Road.
At 2:40 p.m. police in Charles County reported the road is likely to be closed for about two hours.
