THOMPKINSVILLE, Md. – Sept. 26, 9:52 a.m., crews responded to the area of Rock Point Road and Banks O Dee Road for the report of a man injured by a falling tree approximately one mile into the woods.
According to scanner activity, volunteer units deployed utility task vehicles (UTV) to locate and transport the victim out of the woods.
Upon arrival to the scene, units discovered the victim falling in and out of consciousness due to a head a head injury.
The victim was treated by medics on scene and transported to Mary Washington Hospital.
