Waldorf, MD— Detectives with the Charles County Sheriff’s Office, Criminal Investigations Division are seeking to identify a suspect wanted in connection with an assault that occurred last month. Charles County Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 that leads to an arrest and indictment in this case.
On October 8, at about 4:22 p.m., officers responded to the parking lot of St. Charles Town Center for the report of an altercation in which someone was stabbed. The initial investigation revealed the victim and a friend were walking through the mall when they made eye contact with two females. The suspect (shown in the sketch) was with the females at the time.
The suspect approached the victim and confronted him about looking at the females. The victim and the suspect subsequently became involved in a fight during which the victim was stabbed. The suspect fled and the victim was treated for injuries that were not life-threatening.
