The Sears Hometown Store in Wildewood Shopping Center in California was recently named a 2013 recipient of the “Sears Hometown Premier Store.” This award recognizes Sears Hometown Stores across the country that consistently offer the “highest levels of customer service, outstanding store performance and standards.” The California store was one of only 442 locations throughout the U.S. to receive this national recognition for this past Quarter.
This honor should come as no surprise to the customers of the California Sears Hometown Store. As a matter of fact store owner Andre Collins said, “My passion is for customer service. I’ve been in retail management for a long time. I’ve worked for Big Box retail and seen how they aren’t able to work with every customer individually. Being a little guy we are able to meet each customer’s individual needs.”
The Sears Hometown Store may be the little guy but they have the many products and services that have endured with the iconic Sears brand since it was founded by Richard Warren Sears and Alvah Curtis Roebuck in 1893 as a mail order catalog.

Products include all of the top 10 major home appliance brands, as well as consumer electronics, tools, lawn and garden equipment, mattresses and more!
