Fort Washington, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating an accidental death early Monday morning, June 8 in Fort Washington. The victim is identified as Michael Anthony Johnson, 44 of Indian Head.
At approximately 2 a.m., patrol officers were called to the 700 block of Cady Drive for the report of a pedestrian accident. When they arrived, they found Johnson suffering from critical injuries. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.
It appears Johnson jumped onto the running board of an SUV that was in motion. Johnson somehow fell off and hit his head on the ground. There is no foul play suspected by anyone involved. This appears to be an accident.
