Delegate John L. Bohanan, Jr. invites St. Mary’s County citizens to a series of town hall meetings throughout Legislative District 29-B. Meetings will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be held on the following dates and locations:
- Wednesday, April 24 – Lexington Park Library, Meeting Room B
- Monday, April 29 — Ridge Volunteer Fire Department
- Tuesday, May7 — Second District Volunteer Fire Department (Valley Lee)
Delegate Bohanan will discuss the legislation that was considered during the 2013 legislative session and the initiatives that did and did not make it into law. Bohanan wants the input of Southern Marylanders, so plan to join him for a discussion of issues important to you and our community.
Delegate Bohanan has been a member of the House of Delegates since 1999, representing southern St. Mary’s County – Legislative District 29-B. Bohanan serves as the House Chair of the Spending Affordability Committee that sets spending limits each year for the General Fund. He also chairs the Subcommittee on Education and Economic Development, which allocates funding for K-12 and all higher education in Maryland and all business agencies for the State.
