Department of Planning, Growth to close for software upgrades

LA PLATA, Md. – The Department of Planning & Growth Management will be closed to the public, Wednesday, Oct. 17 through Friday, Oct. 19. 

This closure is to allow for the Department of Planning and Growth Management (PGM) to transition to EnerGov, a new permitting software solution.

The EnerGov software will allow residents to have access to electronic review, submittal, fee payment and inspection requests for permits and plans. Citizens will have access to their own portal where they can check the status of their plans, see any sub records, pay their fees, request inspections, apply for new applications and resubmit any documents or drawings.
