At 3:10 a.m. June 11, Charles County Sheriff’s officer E. Weaver conducted a traffic stop on North First Street near Strauss Avenue in Indian Head because he recognized the driver as Lindon Urban Theodile, 41, of Indian Head and knew the driver’s license was suspended.
The officer had also observed Theodile following another vehicle too closely on Strauss Avenue. Theodile was arrested for driving with a suspended license and issued a citation for following a vehicle too closely.
A subsequent search revealed Theodile was in possession of crack cocaine and he was subsequently charged with possession of crack cocaine. Theodile was being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending an appearance before a district court commissioner.
