
UPPER MARLBORO, Md. – Homicide Unit detectives working to identify and arrest the suspect(s) who fatally shot 48-year-old Sharone Redding of Upper Marlboro. She was shot and killed inside of her home on Saturday night. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime.
On January 30, 2021, at approximately 9:25 pm, officers responded to a home in the 12800 block of Dunkirk Drive for a shooting.
The preliminary investigation revealed the suspect(s) shot into the home from outside, striking the victim. Investigators are working to determine a motive for this shooting. As with all homicides, a reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
