On July 30, Calvert County Sheriff Deputies responded to 2540 Lower Marlboro Road for a reported burglary.
Suspects parked a dark in color vehicle across the street from the residence and gained entry and ransacked the interior.
The suspects stole numerous pieces of jewelry to include a ruby ring – marquis ruby stone with diamond begets antique diamond ring – princess cut, and a men’s gold wedding band. The suspects also stole a 12 gauge Remington shotgun and a gold plated Craftsmen socket set.
A similar burglary occurred the same day at 3950 Chaneyville Rd., Owings. The suspects stole a guitar, jewelry and cash. A dark in color vehicle was also seen in the driveway of the victim’s residence.
Since the report of these incidents there has been no suspect information developed or additional information obtained.
