Tidewater Archaeology Days, at Historic St. Maryโs City on Friday and Saturday, July 26 and 27, 2013, offers the public an opportunity to explore archaeology at one of the best-preserved colonial sites in the nation.ย Visitors can help uncover bits of Marylandโs past, take special guided tours of sites and the archaeology laboratory, and discover how researchers use historic and archaeological evidence to re-create the past.ย ย ย
Special activities are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.ย Tidewater Archaeology activities are included in museum admission ($10.00 adults, $9.00 seniors, $6 students, and free for those 5 years and under) along with entrance to all museum exhibits, including a representative 17th-century tall ship, the Godiah Spray Plantation, the State House of 1676, the Woodland Indian Hamlet, and the Brick Chapel.
