Hollywood, MD– On Oct.1, at 9:45 a.m., the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic violence call.
Becky L. Gould, 34, of Hollywood assaulted her husband over a previous domestic assault form this past year.
Gould was outraged by her husband, which lead to her throwing bowls and plates at him across the room.
After the dishes were done flying, Gould struck her husband in the head multiple times with her balled up fist, as well as her open hand.
When it seemed Gould could do no more to her husband, she reached for a fork and stabbed her husband multiple times in his back, causing injuries.
The only other individual present while this was going on to witness was the married couple’s 16-month-old daughter.
Gould faces an assault-second degree charge. The maximum penalty for this charge is 10 years and or fines of $2,500.
The trail date is set for Jan. 12.
