On April 9th, Deputy First Class Hardesty responded to a call at the Spirits and Wine of Calvert in Prince Frederick for reports of a disorderly subject. Upon arrival, he found the subject, identified as Benjamin Thomas Madison, 45 of Capital Heights, outside of the Three Brothers next door to the liquor store. After advising Madison several times that he needs to leave, Madison became disorderly, and was even offered assistance to the hotel next door to get a room for the night.
Madison refused to leave the area of the store until he got more alcohol.
He was detained at this point, and during the booking process, he blew a .255. Madison was arrested for disorderly conduct, failure to obey a lawful order, and trespassing on private property. He will stand trial on July 1st.
