On May 2, Corporal C. Earle responded to the Days Inn in Lexington Park, for a report of a disturbance.
Upon arrival Corporal Earle made contact with the Security Officer who stated John Thomas Merrill, 48 no fixed address was acting in a disorderly manner (yelling) in the lobby. The Security Guard told he asked Merrill to leave but Merrill refused. Corporal Earle contacted Merrill who was yelling obscenities in the lobby. Corporal Earle ordered Merrill to leave the business. Merrill refused. Citizens in the lobby were witnessing Merrill’s obscene language and disorderly behavior.
Corporal Earle arrested Merrill for trespassing and disorderly conduct.
