On Oct. 5, at approximately 10:15 p.m., Dfc. M. George responded to the Dew Drop Inn located in Hollywood, for a disturbance.
Investigation revealed Douglass William Beavers, 46 of Mount Airy, was causing a disturbance inside the establishment and was escorted out by staff. Beavers left the Dew Drop Inn prior to Dfc. George’s arrival, however, he was still in the immediate area. Dfc. George located him near by.
Dfc. George advised Beavers, who was intoxicated, he was not permitted to return to the Dew Drop Inn.
Beavers was extremely uncooperative and began screaming profane language which attracted the attention of persons across the street, who came outside to see what was causing the disturbance.
Beavers was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
