The Dominion Cove Point natural gas liquefaction project is scheduled to begin cleaning the piping systems used to transport steam later this month. Steam produced by the new auxiliary boilers will be used to clean the systems. This will produce occasional noise and steam that may be noticeable from outside the construction area at times. The sound will be controlled through the use of specially designed silencers.
Project construction is on schedule for completion in the fourth quarter of this year.
