At 12:22 a.m. Oct. 1, Charles County Sheriffโ€™s officers responded to a residence in the 12100 block of Ell Lane in Waldorf for the report of an armed robbery.

Investigation revealed four victims, a 29-year-old Waldorf woman, a 32-year-old Waldorf man, a 40-year-old Waldorf woman and a 52-year-old Hughesville woman, were in the residence when there was a knock on the door.

One of the victims checked the peep hole and observed her friend, the fifth victim, a 26-year-old Prince Georgeโ€™s County man, at the door.

As she opened the door to let him in the suspect knocked the man to the ground and forced his way into the residence.

The suspect brandished a handgun, assaulted the woman and demanded money. One of the victims was in another room when she heard the struggle and came out to investigate.

The suspect ordered her to drop her cell phone as another victim exited another room.

The suspect went into a bedroom and demanded money from a fourth victim. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene.

Officers and a K9 team checked the area but were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect is described as a stocky light-complexioned black male in his 20s weighing 200 pounds. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and had a black mask over his face.
