Update – McKay’s thief identified

UPDATE 6-11-15: The suspect pictured below HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED. He saw himself on social media and turned himself in to the Sheriff’s Office.

Leonardtown, Maryland – The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect pictured below.

Thursday, May 21, 2015, at 7:20 PM, the suspect removed 2 bottles of liquid-gel Robitussin capsules from the shelf at the McKay’s Foodland store located on Merchants Lane. The suspect then walked to a different part of the store, opened the bottles, and hid the capsules in his clothing. He discarded the packaging then walked out of the store without paying.
