On July 4, at 1:05 a.m., Trooper First Class Dawson responded to Trader’s Restaurant in Chesapeake Beach in response to fight.
During the investigation, a crowd had gathered in the parking lot. A vehicle drove by the scene and the passenger, Brandon M. James, 21 of Huntingtown, was hanging out of the passenger’s side window of the vehicle yelling profanities at the officers. The vehicle was stopped and James was arrested for disorderly conduct.
James was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
