VALLEY LEE, Md. – On March 21 at 4:58 p.m., crews responded to a crash on Piney Point Road between Denton Road and Glebe Lane of Valley Lee.
Arriving units reported the crash to be a serious, single vehicle collision off of the roadway and into a ditch. When units arrived to the crash, they could not locate the driver.
Reports say that the driver allegedly exited the vehicle after the crash and fled into the nearby woods. Authorities on scene were eventually able to find the driver and put them in custody. Officers are currently investigating the incident.
