On Oct. 1 at 2:10 a.m. Calvert County Sheriff Dep. Moises Velasquez conducted a traffic stop in the area of State Route 4 and Nursery Road in Lusby.
The driver, later identified as Laura Ann Kelly, 24 of St. Leonard, was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia, a clear straw that had been cut and a cut-off hose clamp used to grind crack cocaine to powder and a small zip lock bag with trace amounts of white residue.
Kelly was charged with drug paraphernalia possession.
