On Sept. 24, at 5:36 p.m., TFC E. M. Evans responded to the 21000 block of Great Mills Road in Lexington Park for the reported disturbance in the parking lot of Canopy Liquors.
Upon arrival, contact was made with the male complainant, 40 of Lexington Park, who advised he was assaulted by Doris Elizabeth Thomas, 45 of Lexington Park. Thomas was arrested for second-degree assault and public intoxication.
Thomas was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where she was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
