On Sept. 27, at 1:30 a.m., in the area of MD Route 261 and MD Route 260 in North Beach, Trooper Laziuck stopped a vehicle for traffic violations.
The driver, identified as Kevin Daniel Hardy, 23 of Edgewater, was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol. A search incident to arrest, revealed marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia on Hardy’s person.
Hardy was subsequently transported to the Prince Frederick Barrack for processing and later incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center
