
Dover, DE – The U.S. Geological Survey confirms an earthquake occurred Thursday, Nov. 30 at approximately 4:45 p.m. near Dover, Delaware. The quake had a magnitude of 4.1 and was felt as far away as Anne Arundel County, Baltimore and Northern Virginia. A USGS seismologist told a Washington, DC television station that the quake is very unusual for that area of the East Coast and is not likely to result in significant damage or injuries.
